DOC.02.10 / GPS-HOME BUSINESS-CLASS IT / AT HOME COMING SOON

The IT we run for businesses, at home.

Your home now runs on the same things an office does — a network you cannot afford to lose, backups nobody has tested, cameras, a work laptop, and increasingly a family's whole financial life in a browser. This page explains what our managed IT looks like when the address is residential. It is the same GPS service, the same team, and the same standard. Coming soon.

A home desk in late-afternoon sunlight: an open laptop, a small router and switch on a wall shelf above with blue and yellow network cables neatly run, and framed family photographs softly out of focus behind.

This is not a repair shop.

If you are looking for a one-off fix — a cracked screen, a virus cleanup, a laptop that will not boot — this is not that, and we would rather say so on this page than after you have driven across town.

This is an ongoing relationship, not a transaction. It is membership-based: you join one of the same three GPS tiers our business clients are on — GPS-Basic, GPS-Pro, or GPS-Advanced — and you pay the same rates we charge a business. That is a deliberate choice, not an oversight. The work is identical, the people are identical, and the standard we hold ourselves to does not change because the address is residential.

Same team, same standard, same rates. The only thing that changes is the address.

So there is no separate "home" product and no cut-down home pricing. This page simply explains what those tiers look like in a house rather than an office, so you can work out whether it makes sense for you. It is genuinely not for everyone, and that is fine — it is for households where the technology has quietly become important enough to be worth doing properly.

Status / in the works

Coming soon.

We are opening this up properly rather than bolting a discount onto the business offering. What a GPS tier covers once it is pointed at a house:

The network, done right

Proper wi-fi that reaches the whole house, a router that gets security updates, and a guest network that keeps the smart devices away from the machine you bank on.

Backups that are actually tested

Family photographs and tax records are irreplaceable in a way most business data is not. A backup nobody has ever restored from is not a backup.

Security that suits a household

The same endpoint protection and email filtering our business clients get — because the scams aimed at your family are the same scams, often with better odds.

Someone who knows your setup

You call a number and reach people who already know what you have, instead of explaining your whole house to a stranger every time.

If your home office is where your income comes from, it deserves what an office gets.

Who we have in mind

Homes that are quietly running a business.

Remote and hybrid workers whose income depends on the connection. Households with a home office, a home lab, or a small practice run from the spare room. Families who have accumulated a decade of photographs and have never once checked whether the backup works.

And — often — people who already know us. Many of our business clients have asked some version of "can you just do this at my house too". This is the honest answer to that question: yes, on one of the standard tiers, at the standard rate, rather than as a favor done off the books.

Equipment matters here more than people expect. There is a floor below which we genuinely cannot support a device properly, and being straight about it up front saves everyone a frustrating afternoon — see our minimum technology standards.
